Summer Blast PTU Tutorial

I am using the artwork of Jamie Kidd. You need a license to use her tubes. I bought this tube when she was at CILM..but you can purchase the same tube at CDO

I am using the PTU kit called Summer Splash by Purple's Kreationz. You can purchase the kit at Scraps and the City

I am using Template144 By Denz Designz that can be found HERE




Open template of chose

Duplicate and close original

Delete the Denz Designz Delete Layer

Image resize changing width to 650 let height stay what it changes too. Make sure Resize all layers IS checked

Select Black Circle in the layer palette

Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat

Edit, copy Paper 9

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

Selections, Invert

Edit, clear

Selections, Select None

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow settings of:Vertical and
horizontal: 3
Opacity: 50
Blur: 5
Color; Black
Shadow on new layer NOT checked
Delete black circle

Select heart gradient in layer palette

Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat

Edit, copy Paper 2

Edit, Paste, paste as new layer

Selections, Invert

Edit, Clear

Selections, Select None

Effects, 3D Effects Drop Shadow same settings

Delete heart gradient

Select heart frame in layer palette

Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat

Edit, copy Paper 1

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

Selections, Invert

Delete heart frame

Select orange circle left in layer palette

Open new image 600 x 600

Edit copy frame 2

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

Image, resize by 80%

With your magic wand click inside the frame

Selections, modify, expand by 12

Edit, copy paper 6

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

Selections, invert

Edit, clear

Selections, Select none

Select Raster 2

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, settings of:
Vertical: 3
Horizontal: -3
Opacity: 50
Blur: 5

Edit, copy your tube

Move tube down to the bottom of the frame. See my tag for placement

Mobster Love PTU Tutorial

in March if we had purchased three or more tubes. You need a license to use her

Open Template174

Image resize making sure resize all layers is checked. Resize to 600 in width

Image, canvas size, 650 x 650, middle placement checked

Delete the top layer

Delete the background layer

Select Rounded Rectangle in the layer palette

Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat

Open up Paper 18

Edit, copy

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

Selections, Invert

Edit, Clear

Selections, Select None

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, settings of:
Vertical and Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 50
Blur: 5
Color: Black
Shadow on new layer NOT Checked

Delete rounded rectangle layer

Select Thin Rounded Rectangle 2 in the layer palette

Open the Limo element

Move to the top left along the top of the rounded square

Select Bullets Element

Place above dotted rounded square in the template

Select the Money Element

Move up and make sure it is placed below the gun

Layers, duplicate

Move down and over a bit. See my tag for placement

Open dice element

Resize by 80%

Edit, copy

Move to the upper right corner of the rounded square in the template. See my tag for placement

Open the diamond element

Resize 80%

Edit, copy

Hot Girl FTU Cluster Frame

I am happy to announce that I am now on Purple's CT Team...Here is a cluster frame using her PTU scrap kit called Hot Girl that you can purchase at Scraps and The City. You can find more of her work HERE. She has some great FTU as well as PTU kits on her site.. To get the frame click on the preview below to take you to the download.. As far as I know Purple no longer sells kits.
