This tutorial was written by me. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is pure coincidence. Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own. It was written in PSP 9 but should be compatible with any version of PSP.

 

 

 

I am using the artwork of Pinuptoons. You need a license to use this tube. You can purchase this tube at CDO

 

I am using the PTU Kit IB Pinuptoons 270-3 by Wicked Princess Scraps.  This kit is sold at CDO 


 

 

 

 

Open new image 700 x 700

 

Edit, copy Frame 1

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 80%

 

Image, rotate, free rotate, left 90

 

With your magic wand click inside of the frame

 

Selections, Modify, Expand by 8

 

Edit, copy Paper 6

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Layers, arrange, send to bottom

 

Selections, Invert

 

Edit, clear

 

Edit, copy Snowflake

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Edit, clear

 

Selections, Select None

 

Select Raster 2

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Settings of:

Vertical : 2

Horizontal: 2

Opacity: 65

Blur: 5

Color: Black

Shadow on new layer NOT Checked

 

Edit, copy Tree

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Move to the left side of the frame

 

Image, resize 70%

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same Settings

 

Edit, copy Tube

 

Edit, paste, paste as  new layer

 

Image, mirror

 

Image, resize 65%

 

Move to the side of the tree so it looks to be like the tube is hanging the ornament in its hand on the tree

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same Settings

 

Select Raster 2

 

Edit, copy Rug

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Move to the bottom of frame. Keep moving so that you can see it in front of tree and tube

 

Image, resize 75%

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same Settings

 

Edit, copy Gift 2

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Move to the left side of the tree

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same settings

 

Edit, copy Gift

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Move to the right side of the previous gift and move behind it and over some

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same Settings

 

Edit, copy Stocking

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Place to the left placing behind the gifts but in front of the tree

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same settings

 

Edit, copy Bag

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 40%

 

Move io place in front of the tree and behind the gifts. This will be on the right side of the tree

Edit, copy Fireplace

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 50%


Move down so it is sitting on the rug

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same Settings

 

Edit, copy Lantern

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Move to place on the right side of the fireplace

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same settings

 

Edit, copy Ornament

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Place in front of the fireplace and behind the lantern

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same Settings

 

Edit, copy Cat

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Layers, arrange, bring to top

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Place to the side of the tube so it looks to be rubbing on the tubes leg

Edit, copy Nutcracker

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Move to the left placing in front of the gifts

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same settings

 

Select raster 2

 

Edit, copy Candy

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 30%

 

Move to the top right of the frame

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same Settings

 

Remember to add your copyright info. Make sure it is plain and legible

 

Add your name to the tag

 

Save as PNG

  1. Excellent job. CDO scarp is too expensive for me, personally, so I would not do this tutorial. At least not with that scrap. But I love what you did with it.
